I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you what an outstanding job Vicki Smith did for us in looking for a new home in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. On short notice, my wife and I provided her with over one hundred "possible" homes we found on the internet. She asked us to provide her with specific criteria in what we wanted in a home. She screened the possible homes we had located on the internet and then found many that we had not found online. We then asked her to block Easter weekend for us to show us homes.

When we arrived, Vicki met us with a detailed plan on which houses we would visit, detailed maps on how to get to each property, and information about the communities. She also was very straightforward with her opinions as a Realtor concerning her views on the value of the property, the pros and cons of each neighborhood, how long the commutes from each property would take, etc...

When we found a home we liked, Vicki did a superb job in negotiating a great sales price and gaining concessions by the seller on items such as home owners association dues, home warranties, etc... When we agreed on a sales price, she immediately went to her office and put together the contract. This all occurred on a Saturday evening.

Vicki then recommended to me a home inspector who she said was "good." I was able to spend about 90 minutes with the inspector, but then had to leave to attend a meeting. Vicki stayed with the inspector for another two hours. Her advice again proved correct. This was by far the most competent and thorough home inspector I had ever seen. The inspector found several items that needed to be repaired. Vicki again negotiated with the seller on these items and was able to obtain agreement by the seller to fix all of the findings. Vicki then prepared an amendment to the sales contract.

A date was set for the seller to have these items fixed. Unfortunately, I will be in Virginia on a work assignment on that date. Vicki immediately volunteered to inspect the home for me to ensure the findings were addressed.

In summary, it has been a pleasure to work with such a professional. She always put the needs of my wife and I first on her priority list and it showed from the moment we met her. She is an outstanding Realtor.
